About the Artist:
Dena Paige-Fischer was born and raised in New York City, the child of artists. She received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2009 and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Dena's work is manifested through contrasting yet complementary materials. She fuses natural and industrial objects and imagery, and draws inspiration from returning to nature, the sci-fi genre, and indigenous art. Dena’s work has been exhibited in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, MD., and Rome, Italy.
